Free cell phone lookups are Fake!
Having been a P.I. of every variety; but one particularly specializing in phone tracing for over 16 years (Landline & cell phones), it makes me very angry when I see all the phoney software programs and websites out there selling you promises. Playing you when you are often already at your wits end. They tell you they can do/find everything and anything - too good to be true, right!?
Yes, your first instinct is your best friend. You know when you've been had, so if you bought one of these so called "detective programs" and are unhappy with it - demand your money back! Don't just take it and say oh well, 20-30-40$ down the drain. Get it back! Don't let these bloodsuckers get rich off their false advertising and out right lies.
If you don't stop them; who will?
If you want real and true accurate data; yes, you DO have to pay for it. There are no free cell phone directories that are accurate and there never will be. People change their cell phone numbers in particular on a daily basis. A landline (house phone) does not get changed nearly as often.
If you don't want your data to be located, here are some tips for you:
Put your phone number(s) in your pets (or whatever) name. Never ever use your home address; use a PO Box or mailbox etc address. Get a Tracfone (never ever get a contract with a bill!) for your cell phone - they are completely and utterly untraceable! Just these 3 simple things alone will very often make you much more difficult (if not impossible) to locate - physically.
Most people have very valid reasons for tracing a cell phone number.
Landline numbers too. They generally fall into the catagories of missing kids, theft, unpaid bills, run-away renters, dead beat parents, missng family members; the legitimate list is endless and I do require the reason for the search. Yes, People DO lie but I can't stop them from lieing anymore than you can, I can only hold them accountable for it.
This is the age of information; nothing can be done to stop the train but I am going to write my next hub on how you CAN protect yourself - for example if you are hiding from an abusive ex-mate; that type of thing. You NEED to protect yourself and you can't do that if you don't know how it works.
In the mean time, keep safe and - if you have need of my services, please feel free to vist one of my sites.

And BTW - don't try and hide your fake scamware here in my hub - I did not deny your comment but just so EVERYONE knows - if you click on his above *reverse number lookup* and fall for this scam, you just threw your money away.
Cool, I totally agree
good hub
I stick with the free stuff, plus I work in a law office, so I have my own contacts ;-) but so much of the stuff on the net is bogus. If you really need to know, save your money and just call a PI, they might be able to help you for a lot less heartache and BS than these scams.
Yes Dinks, PLEASE contact ME.
If you read my profile, you will see what I do and I am Very Good at my job.
Thanks for reading me and I appreciate your hubs a great deal.
We also share a bit of the same sense of humor; people seem to like it quite a lot, aye!? :}
Keep on writing girl!
Best regards, Melanie
Here is the PERFECT EXAMPLE of a scammer who tries to post to my hubs, I always delete him but he says this:
"Finding the owner and call records of a phone number is easy with a reverse lookup service."
and his link, is of course, right to his scam website.
Oh ya, and I changed my mind and DID delete your comment(s) - And BTW - don't try and hide your fake scamware here in my hub - I did not deny your comment but just so EVERYONE knows - if you click on his above *reverse number lookup* and fall for this scam, you just threw your money away.
More good informations thanks for helping me out. Always a pleasure to see information that is useful, thanks again

*Finding* as opposed to *SELLING* phone records....Are you aware that since the General Wesley episode congress acted faster than ever and made it TOTALLY 100% ILLEGAL (big time jail) to obtain and or sell or distribute cell phone records, toll records, landline records or ANY type of telephone records??
Not reversing #'s - But the actual CALL records themselves and if you are doing that (which I HIGHLY DOUBT) as you do not have the ability to do so- as ALL your links point to Intellius (which we ALL should Now know does NOT sell toll records), they are not Stupid.
It is people such as yourself who through the methods of false advertising (misleading at best to put it nicer) - that give those of us who DO THE JOB a bad name; EVERY one who researches your company KNOWS it is on nearly EVERY scam/fraud list online.
You also do not allow *comments* to your hubs - I know - I have TRIED. You refuse to allow them - why?? Because you KNOW the truth is told and you don't want it up there.
