Answers run across the nightmare

of my dilemma

Caught in a high-wire,

They sizzle and crack;

they snap and break

in the tension

caused by never knowing

what is right....

The tension mounting

here to stay

as only the moment

is what is this day.

There's never tomorrow

no future to see,

It's all about moments

that pacify me.

Oh alleviate

this stress..

really a mess...

on doing some thinking

on the subject of drinking

I've come to conclude

that the truth does elude...
