Photography - The Beauty of Living Art wood rock trees slate lake
66Perfection
Please click on images to view them in near 8x10 - they are stunning. There is simply NO other subject matter providing perfection beyond nature...not for me.
Lake Mirror
Calm Water
Perfectly calm....still....Perfection. Not a single one of the photos in this collection have been re-touched or *fixed* in ANY manner what-so-ever.
They appear as they were taken. Perfectly. Not that I am perfect; the subject matter is.
Double Sun Eclipse?
Drift wood
A Rock
...a rock. No soil to be seen anywhere...and yet...a bush begins to renew in spring. Little tuffs of foliage growing. At times a single tree will be seen growing straight out of a rock; the roots find the water and need no soil. Amazing...
Living Art
Perfect Art
...I wish you could zooooom in on this photo to the hole in the center. An animal lives here...it is home to one; maybe later in summer a family of chip monks or ...?
...look at the natural colors of the wood! These roots; up-rooted by time, water and wind have become one of the most beautiful pieces of art I have ever seen!
...Personally, I have not seen any human made art that comes close to natures majesty and the awe it inspires.
Pine cone Reaching
Pine Cone Alive
...How many people really ever see a pine cone in this state? Early warm spring in N.W. Ontario, Canada...the Growth is most incredible to behold. The colors - reaching - straining - renewal...
...again...perfect art. The smells are also a part of this experience. The smell of freshest pine. The sounds of the Loons calling in the background & gentle breeze felt on skin. It is a true buffet for the senses.
Reeeeach!
another one!
One more for your viewing pleasure

Slate Rock & Drift Wood
Purple Sunset...?
Purple on the Water....
This photo; taken at sunset over calm water has not been retouched in any manner. The purple hues can be seen in several photos I took that evening. I was amazed. At first, thinking there was something amiss with my camera, but no! -- this is the color the sun left us!
A Cave...?
A cave? A Cavern?
We stuck a paddle down...no bottom...? We got a long stick, 15 feet long at least...still no bottom. Nearly square - 8 feet by 5 feet and sooo deeply full of water in the midst of a pine-covered cliff.
How?
The Root of the Matter...
...Roots of a tree - Blown up to 8x10 - this is such an interesting picture it astounds me.
The colors in the roots come from the super high concentration of mineral content in this area.
The rocks are near impossible to pull out as the roots have grown around them so tightly.
...For those of you who appreciate this type of art and these types of pictures, will you PLEASE kindly tell me why you think I get such low hub score on these?
I have looked at severalother hubs doing this photo opp for November and there are very few words.
Are not the photos supposed to speak for themselves?
In any event - if you have ideas and/or comments for me; Please leave them and please follow me. I have literal skads of wild life photos for the world to see!

Great Photos! You got very nice selection of subjects. I definitely admire photos and the memories they keep for as long as they last. The skill of the photographer makes them perfect!=) 1 vote up!
OOOHHHH beautiful photos. I'm kinda partial to the driftwood island. The scoring baffles me, however, I found as long as I write about what I love, and hang out at my favorite hubauthors it all works out. Eventually.
I love nature photography and these are fantastic! Please do keep on taking photos and sharing it to the world.

These are stunning! I can just *feel* being there...wow, you are SO lucky to be there!
GREAT JOB!
I LOVE the driftwood!
I make sculptures out of it and that tree root is super amazing. I agree, nature is the most beautiful thing there is...
Hello Private Eye. I just noticed this is in the wrong category for the contest. It needs to be Entertainment and Media-Photos and Videos-Photo Galleries. This is too beautiful to be kicked out. Regards, Hyphenbird.
See my previous comment for the correct location. And be sure it has contest in the tags. Regards, HB.

They are beautiful indeed. I think the purple hued one may be my favorite. To have that color is very unusual. You said, "For those of you who appreciate this type of art and these types of pictures, will you PLEASE kindly tell me why you think I get such low hub score on these?" I have no idea. I can work for literally a week on a Hub and have 2,000 word only to see a misspelled Hub with no sentence structure score higher. I have never figured out the scoring system and don't even try. You have produced some gorgeous artwork and that is all that matters.
