Many 1000's of women are physically assaulted every single day in North America. Sometimes for as little as the change in their purses. The person assaulting you doesn't know how much money you have! Worse yet, it may not be money they are after at all. Here are several tips and items you need to know and to have to protect yourself and keep yourself safe.

With this type of crime on the rise; women need to better equip themselves with some know-how and some safety devices. These two things combined can assist you in avoiding an assault altogether; escaping sudden attack and/or bodily harm.

My list should suit every womans ability to protect herself. Guys too for that matter. Makes no difference, men get assaulted too. Hay - we live in dangerous times, don't we...? Actually life in the 21st century is safer than in previous centuries but violent crime is on the rise. A good self defense course is the first move to make. You can have all the self-defense gadgets and gizmos but if you freeze up or freak out -- these items are not going to be of any use to you -- in saving your life or your purse.
