I am not sure exactly WHY I was so upset to run across this website but I was. It is just plain old WRONG and the site is Enormous. Look at the sitemaps to it at the bottom of the page. The site is: websiteoutlook . com
It *supposidly tells you what a website is WORTH if you are interested in buying it.
IT IS SO WRONG. It does Not work this way!
The only value that counts is the one based on what a potential buyer is willing to pay.
I just entered a website I sold about a month ago. The value this site gave it was $1934.80. I sold the site for $8000.00 -- which was LESS than I thought the site was really worth. I just made a rash move. (Don't do that - make rash moves.)
Website Outlook can't determine much of ANYTHING. It cannot tell you how much a site is earning. The backlinks and page rankings are all wrong. The traffic listings are retarded and based on...what...?
It has the daily page views SO wrong that it even has the daily adsense revenue as $6.09 and the thing is --the site doesn't have any adsense on it!!!!! - so where did they pull THAT six bucks out of? A hat? They even go so far as to GUARANTEE accuracy!
How do they (and So many other sites) get away with this? Remember when *false advertising* used to be a crime? It certainly doesn't appear to be a crime any longer. If it is, it ranks right up there with pi**ing on the side of the road. Me thinks this should be reported to every BBB and website watcher website everywhere and I can't do it alone!
Posted to ripoffreports.com really won't help as it is a different sort of scam, and I'm not quite sure what the bottom line scam going here is but I sure can smell it...and it REAKS. The bottom line is always about money though.

no such tools are reliable since business valuations are very complex in nature.

all website value calculators give estimates based on the no. of link and backlinks, irrespective of hard work done by a web designer .
Fact to be Noted: If you search "websiteoutlook.com open source php clone" in google then on second page ,you'll find a link to sourceforge.net PHP script, and it took me ,only 2 minutes to install that clone,
Conclusion: Stop using these kind of websites,these are mainly settuped for fooling people and made money from Google Adsense
Its not scam, all these website make an estimate using different source, and the daily revenue they are showing is what you can generate by ads from the traffic you are getting its not what you are making with your websites. Well they are not true, but none of those sites are telling you that what they are estimating is a true value of a website. If you say all those sites are scam, then blogging is also a scam, is there any use of blogs to any one? What is the use of facebook and orkut aren't they a big scam?
one thing you have to admit...that it's easy as 1-2-3 to create a website like Website Outlook....and earn money..
had you ever heard about Worth.im php Script or Gizlinks php script... these script uses pagerank,inbound links,backlinks,alexa info to give the Accurate Data.
A php developer can also write his own script base on above factor
It looks like the estimations are based on daily hits X who-knows what eCPM. That's pretty general, and not considering domain name and income sources.

Website valuations are given as a very rough guide only. If you take a moment to look at what the sites say they normaly state that. One of the most accurate website valuations I have come across and one I use is http://www.website-worth.org which seems to draw alot of information about your website worth. Like all these tools it should be taken like a pinch of salt.
Your very right about what you said, my site www.tierads.com is ranked on page one of several different categories and I don't use google adsense and they are saying I make 2 dollars a day with google adsense.
